Flexographic Printing
Flexographic ("Flexo") printing is a very versatile printing process particularly suited to longer production runs of labeling products. The process
transfers water-based or UV cured inks to a roll-to-roll substrate capable of producing high quality graphics at relatively high speed.
The fast-drying inks used in flexography make it ideal for printing materials like thin plastic films and foils. These multi-station in line presses
are capable of printing multiple colors and performing finishing/converting operations in a single pass on the press.
Flexo printing is relatively expensive to set up for shorter production runs. Hot stamp printing may be a suitable alternative for many smaller
quantity requirements.
VisionMark's Flexographic printing capabilities include:
Up to 6 colors
UV overprint varnish
4 color process printing
Up to 7" wide web
