Graphic Overlays Technical Information

Graphic overlays provide the necessary brand identity, instructions, machine feedback and tactile feel necessary for effective interfaces with membrane switches and other panels. In addition, the graphic overlay or switch overlay defines key locations when used with mechanical switches. An effective overlay is critical to the equipment user’s experience. Every time an operator uses these overlays, and the switches below them, they experience your company and the quality of your product.

Graphic overlays usually require a high performance adhesive for attachment to a panel or membrane switch. VisionMark develops and tests overlay adhesives that provide the right adhesion, regardless of the mating surface.

We provide both Class “A” matched metal tooling or steel rule die cutting for all our products including Switch overlays and graphic overlays.
