Design & Engineering Services
A key component of all our solutions is our design/engineering capability. From developing custom adhesives that will stand the heat of a
full-scale fire, to poly-domed acrylic nameplates for underwater equipment, VisionMark's full-time staff designers have had significant
experience in every imaginable application for commercial and industrial graphics.
We can help you select the right materials, finishes and adhesives for your application...that's standard. But what's unique about
VisionMark's offering is that with design/engineering as an integrated part of our entire operation, we can ensure that the design of
your label or nameplate or warning sign takes full advantage of all our manufacturing capabilities.
Whether we're designing the piece for you, or you are providing artwork, we'll make sure the finished product is the best it can be.
Our mechanical capabilities for design include:
- Complete Windows-based and Macintosh computer design systems, including AutoCad.
- Full T1 connection to the Internet for electronic data transfer and communications.
- Full working knowledge with Freehand, Corel Draw and most other graphic software.

For imagesetting (creating the film necessary for engraving plates or screen-printing) we use two Agfa Avantra 25 digital imagesetters with in-line processors. Film size for imagesetting is 18" x 26.5," with maximum image size of 17.68" x 25."
